As New Zealand has commenced the COVID-19 Protection Framework our bloom hearing specialists network continues to be able to provide ongoing hearing care.

Our clinics operations continue to align with all necessary requirements to ensure the safety of both our customers and team members.

Are bloom hearing clinics open?

Yes, all our clinics across New Zealand are available for services.

If you require an appointment, please contact your local clinic where our friendly team will provide advice and ask you some screening questions before booking an appointment for you. Contactless drop off services, and remote care services continue to be available. 

Can I have an appointment via phone or virtually?

Yes, bloom hearing specialists continues to be able to provide hearing services via phone, virtual care, or remote care.

Do I have to provide my vaccine status to entre a bloom hearing specialists clinic?

bloom hearing specialists will not be requesting your personal vaccination status for you to be able to access hearing services. This aligns with the requirements as set out by the Ministry of Health for Health Services and Designated Premises.

Our clinics utilise the required PPE as per the guidance provided by the Ministry of Health. QR posters are available for contact tracing, as well as a paper-based contact tracing process should you require this.

Are there any requirements for me attending a bloom hearing specialist clinic?

We ask all customers visiting our clinics to follow the government advice regarding face coverings when visiting a healthcare practice. 

Please ensure to bring and wear a face covering when entering one of the clinics, if you have an exemption for a face covering, please inform one of our friendly team members when you arrive at the clinic. If you don’t have a face covering, we are happy to provide one for you.

If you are not feeling 100% well, we ask that you contact our clinic before you arrive so we can reschedule your appointment.

Before Visiting Your Clinic

If you are attending an appointment or planning to visit a clinic, we encourage you to:

  • Call your clinic if you would usually drop in. We may be able to assist you over the phone instead. You can find the contact details of your nearest clinic here.
  • Visit the clinic only if you are well and are not experiencing cold or flu symptoms, such as fever, cough, difficulty breathing, sore throat, sneezing or runny nose, or loss of sense of smell.
  • Follow Government advice and remain in self-isolation for 14 days if you have been in close contact with a confirmed or suspected case of COVID-19, or returned from international travel.
  • Follow Government advice regarding face masks and contact tracing.
